South Beach sits along The Embarcadero just south of the Ferry Building. It is a dense pocket of entertainment, including Oracle Park, home to the San Francisco Giants, South Beach Yacht Club, restaurants, breweries, hotels, and South Beach Park. South Beach homes are predominantly beachfront luxury condominiums with floor-to-ceiling windows allowing harbor and bay bridge views. Because South Beach is a small beach neighborhood, the marina, stadium, beach, restaurants, and cafes are within a short walking distance from wherever you reside in South Beach. It is a five-minute drive or 20-minute walk to the Ferry Building, a hub of restaurants, vendors, and bars, and a great place to explore the bay area with a ferry ride to a nearby city or Angel Island. Whether its walking over to Oracle Park for a Giants game, going for a sail on a sunny day, or decompressing in the evening with a cocktail at a local bar, South Beach Residents have a ton of options when it comes to entertainment.

If you are looking for fun, South Beach is your neighborhood. Neighborhood favorites include Lucky Strike bowling alley and Thriller Social Club. South Beach is the neighborhood to have fun with friends or have fun making new ones. It is the place to be out and about having a wonderful time.
 

Dining, Entertainment, and Shopping

South Beach is home to two breweries, Black Hammer Brewing and 21st Amendment Restaurant & Brewery, both offering local brews and fun environments. Just a few blocks outside the small neighborhood’s city limits are two other breweries, Local Brewing Co. and New Belgium Brewing Taproom and Restaurant, making South Beach an excellent neighborhood for walking brew tours. The Alchemist Bar and Lounge is a chic cocktail bar just two blocks from the beach.
 
South Park Cafe is an intimate, upscale cafe with private dining options and a carefully selected wine menu. MoMo’s, just across the street from Oracle Park, serves American cuisine like burgers, sandwiches, beer, and wine and is also available for private events. The Socialite Crafthouse & Kitchen offers a full bar, brunch, and lunch menus. Menu favorites include their Meyer Lemon & Ricotta Pancakes. Blue Bottle Coffee is within walking distance, and the coffee shop is known for its artisan and single-origin coffees. Lastly, though certainly not least, Westfield San Francisco Centre is a wonderful upscale mall only a 10-minute drive or bus ride from South Beach.
 

Things to Do

Yerba Buena Ice Skating & Bowling Center is a quite drive from South Beach and offers residents a public bowling alley and skating arena, as well as skating lessons for children and adults. Yerba Buena Gardens is also a nearby attraction, where one can view the wonders of flowers and plants. South Beach is close to Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Museum of the African Diaspora, and The Contemporary Jewish Museum, making it an excellent neighborhood for those who enjoy the arts. Check out Oracle Park for Giants games, or toss a ball around with friends at China Basin Park.
